My name is Megan and I am 11 years old. I loved this book by Sue Birch, it was very exciting and it kept me guessing right to the end. The children in the book are trying to figure out who killed the person in the graveyard before the policeman does.It is so descriptive that you feel like you are there with them and this makes you want to keep on reading to find out what happens. I would highly recommend this book, it is the best one I have read and more exciting that any other one that I have read. I cant wait for the next book by Sue.

this was a really good story and kept you guessing right to the end.
It was nice to have a character who had a dissability as it will inform other children that it is o.k. to be different. I look forward to more stories from Sue Birch, as she has a natural story telling ability.

My mum bought me this book. I love reading and really enjoy the Charlie Bone series and The Famous Five. I loved this book because it was a really thrilling story with lots of cliff hangers. I was trying to solve the mystery all the way through but I was 'dead puzzled'! When I reached the end of the book and discovered the truth it all fell into place. My favourite character was Oliver. I read this book in one go - for about the first few pages I didn't quite "get it" but then WOW I couldn't put it down and just had to get to the end (even though I should have been asleep!). I can't wait to read more by Sue Birch and I have recommended Dead Puzzling to all my friends. This is just my type of book - thrilling - but remember you might think you can trust someone but they are not always what they seem. . . .!

I am always trying to encourage my grandchildren to enjoy reading and therefore look for suitable books. As I have a relative with an autistic child "Dead Puzzling" seemed a perfect choice. If, like me, you loved reading the Enid Blyton adventure books when you were young, then this book is a must for your children or grandchildren if they are aged about eight to thirteen years old. It is a thoroughly enjoyable book, modern and thought provoking. Not only exciting it will also give children an insight into how people with disabilities, and those they come into contact with, try to cope with their differences. Hopefully providing a better understanding. One of the morals of the story is about who to trust. Many of us who feel let down by the people we thought were guarding our interests, eg. the Bankers, will appreciate this aspect. Once again the reader will question previously held assumptions. I can't wait for more stories from Sue Birch.
